COGS - Lord of the Rings - Record Attempt 25th August 2005 [Dave Wise] This year at the COGS "Big Ten" show, our two stalwart LOTR bosses, Richard (aka Yith) and Tony (aka TonyB) who both featured in the anniversary White Dwarf game, are attempting to run largest single-table LOTR battle in Europe. The intention is to get through at least 10 full turns (Yith: 6 is more likely) during the day using both modified rules (Yith: only slightly) and a big Overseers whip. At the present time we are still looking for adult players who are willing to help umpire the game and provide decently painted figures. Any interested parties should email Richard and Tony at yith@yith.co.uk and awb1@btinternet.com Photos of last year's huge game can be found here: COGS Show 2004 - LOTR Game Clubs interested in putting on other participation should contact Dave wise at wiseone@tiscali.co.uk
