![]() GAME REPORTSFANTIZAN 2000, Sunday 13TH FebruaryUsing WDF rules, we played out the 'Fright Night' scenario. Players received points for performing certain actions and preventing evil occurrences. We played two ongoing games during the day and both events provided a unique player insight into how one goes about slaying Vampyres and other extreme nasties. The occurrences that required prevention were primarily the waking of a Master Vampyre in his Mausoleum and the attempted summoning of a visitation by a Necromancer with a very agitated prospective sacrifice! The players took a fairly direct route during the first scenario, using the road roller to smash through the graveyard wall and ram into the mausoleum entrance. Other fun included the removal of a silver cross from the stomach of a Mantis, achieved with the delicate usage of a heavy masonry drill, a very close shave. The appearance of the Blade Bunny from the boot of a moving car caused some alarm, but relief when it ploughed into a group of Oggy Zombies with its usual slice'n'dice action. The search for items in the second scenario proved fairly amusing with both a techno-sage and a big game hunter took great pains to climb a huge statue of a gargoyle to retrieve a hidden item. Both characters fell off the beast and when the item was finally recovered it turned out to be a box of matches. The Blade Bunny was less fortunate in this scenario, disappearing in one bite when it was caught fair and square by a Vampyre dog. Again the road roller steamed towards the mausoleum but got held up by two Vampyres who proceeded to fall under the roller…yucch!
